North Coast Restaurant is a high-end eatery on the edge of Lake Minnetonka near downtown Wayzata. With a focus on contemporary American cuisine, a good deal of the items here are fresh seafood, though the menu does range into beef and poultry. The staff says that the kitchen makes an effort to use fresh local produce when possible, and that the outdoor seating in warmer weather is a popular draw.

Entrees are in the $20 - 30 range, and reservations are recommended.
