The Pleasant View Motel, next to the Sunrise Family Restaurant on Jeffco Blvd., offers daily and weekly rates and is home to some long-term residents. The 24 units are all on the ground level; some are kitchenettes. The motel is family owned and operated and has been in business since 1949. Owner Renee Hess says she often works with churches and charitable organizations in the community to help provide housing for those in need.
