Founded in 1998 in Scottsdale, Ariz., Kona Grill has since expanded its casual dining experience to select markets, including Las Vegas, San Antonio, Denver and Omaha, Neb. The Kansas City, Mo., location opened in 2003. The restaurant s signature dishes include macadamia nut chicken, big island meat loaf, five-spice baby back ribs, lemongrass crusted swordfish and sweet-chili glazed salmon. Each restaurant features an exhibition kitchen, a patio lounge and a sushi bar, which is highlighted by a salt-water aquarium.
