The Well is a unique, multi-level restaurant with two outdoor areas...a lower level patio and a rooftop deck. The second establishment of the Lewellen brothers, (Lew's Grill & Bar is down the street) it is easy to tell that a lot of thought went into making it a place that offers something for everyone. The slightly upscale feel combined with the casual atmosphere of a neighborhood bar draws a mixed crowd of all ages, from families and singles to business people and locals. Comfortable and friendly, it's great for all types of gatherings. The chef-prepared menu includes fresh fish, steaks, pastas, burgers with hand-cut fries and much more. “We choose only the freshest ingredients for our dishes, and we buy locally whenever possible,” said owner Chris Lewellen. Late night includes a variety of munchies, hand-made soups and sandwiches. Sunday brunch features a six-station buffet with omelet and Belgium Waffle station and KC's largest Bloody Mary Bar.
