Calvin Hu came to the United States six years ago and he missed the sweet Mandalay food that he had enjoyed at home. He began cooking it for his friends and they also seemed to love it. He decided to open a restaurant where he could introduce his Mandalay food to America. Five years ago he opened his first restaurant and two years ago he opened the second Mandalay Asian Cuisine restaurant at the West County Mall.
It has been an immediate success as people love the sweet crispy taste of his Mandalay secret sauce lavished over the cooked chicken, the most popular item on the menu. The food is light and delicious and he welcomes you and your family to try Mandalay chicken the next time you come to the mall. Small samples are frequently given away.
