From the current location in central St. Louis, Schneithorst's has been occupying the corner of Clayton & Lindbergh and operating now under the 3rd generation of Schneithorst's to take the reins. Orginally occupying the entire southeast corner of the intersection, the facility was known as a mutli-purpose facility providing fine dining, the Kafee Haus, banquet rooms, the bierkeller, and catering services. After a rebuilding of the Kafee Haus in 1995 the stage was set for a new generation of change, what we like to call the new 'Modern Tradition". Slowly the transition began for James E. Schneithorst Jr. to take over the corner of Clayton & Lindbergh. The change would be drastic. In 2002, construction began on creating the newest shopping facility in the area, surrounding Schnithorsts.
