Hamid Hamrash and Tim McLane opened Ham's Deli in St. Charles in June 2010. They chose Main Street because the area lacked a deli and had few other healthy lunch options. The pair uses only Boar's Head meats and cheeses in their sandwiches, which have no fillers, artificial flavors or trans fats. 

The restaurant sells freshly-made soups, salads and sandwiches. Salads include a Greek, traditional Caesar, and garden salad. They also make a Rueben with corned beef, swiss cheese, sauerkraut and dressing, an Italian classic, with Genoa salami, ham and pepperoni.
