Winter season at the BALSAMS Grand Resort Hotel takes place between the Christmas holidays and early April. During the winter, individual guest parties and small groups enjoy a winter wonderland in Dixville Notch, N.H. BALSAMS Grand Resort Hotel provides guests with an on-site alpine skiing with 16 trails on two slopes served by two triple-chair lifts as well as five gladded areas that include a snowboarding terrain park, a full-service base lodge, a 95-kilometer cross-country trail system; 33 kilometers of designated snowshoe trails, ice-skating and a natural history program with guided tours. Its lodging provides three rooms of live entertainment that include lectures, games, contests, concerts, movies and nightclub shows. BALSAMS Grand Resort Hotel s menu changes on a daily basis. It offers cuisine from throughout world and extensive wine selection and cellar. Guests are charged one rate that covers everything from early morning exercise to the last dance of the evening. Approximately 400 guests can enjoy the facilities programs and accommodations.
