The Windham is in one of the oldest homes in the state. First built in 1812, the restaurant occupies several floors in the large estate. It offers a cozy atmosphere with fireplaces in some of the dining areas and the bar. It also has an outdoor patio for the summer months. The menu is eclectic and has several kinds of food, including chicken, beef, pasta, lamb, seafood and many other unique dishes. The restaurant has earned many awards and one review said "they try to satisfy rather than impress and they end up doing both."
