The Waters Edge was purchased from the owners of Martell's 2 weeks before Superstorm Sandy hit the Jersey Shore in October of 2012. To commemorate our purchase, we bought a fish tank for the Waterfront Bar and filled it with angel fish. Unfortunately, while the restaurant was fine, the deck was damaged and the fish tank was lost to the bay. Days later, the fish tank reappeared, sitting at the bottom of the bay in 4 feet of water. All of the fish were gone, except for one. This special angel fish is still with us today and earmarks the birth of the Waters Edge brand. It is a constant reminder that no matter how bad the storm may be, this restaurant is a harbor to welcome everyone and to make you feel like you're home. Arrive by boat or on foot, see the amazing view, hear the sounds of the sea and our live entertainment. Smell the aroma and taste our gourmet cuisine. The location will make you come for a visit and our welcoming staff and family-friendly crowd will make you stay awhile!
