In June 2009, Taquería Auténtica began as a taco stand, operating on Saturdays at the Montclair Farmer's Market. In September 2009, we began operating on Sundays at the Summit Farmer's Market. In May 2010, we began operating a taco truck during the week in Newark. We are proud to say we were Newark's first gourmet food truck! In September 2011, we opened a restaurant with an expanded menu in Bloomfield, NJ! You can still visit our truck at the Montclair and Summit Farmer's Markets on weekends, and in Newark for lunch during the week. (Check Facebook or Twitter for truck schedule and location.)
