John and Adrianna Adams opened Primo Water Ice in 1996 and it has become the local hang-out spot for kids. In addition to their signature water ice and gelati, the Adams have created a special room in the back called The Ice Box with free X-Box, Wii and PlayStation games, as well as free Wi-Fi, and a smoke machine or disco lights that can be turned on upon request. Their goal was to provide a cool and safe place off the streets where kids could come and spend time.
