Villa Borghese Italian Restaurant and Pizzeria is sure to satisfy your taste buds. With traditions brought back from the old school, Villa Borghese brings Old style cooking to a modern world. Atmosphere & Service Dining in Villa Borghese is an experience unlike any other. While you are enjoying our delicious food, look around our dining room and let your imagination run wild. The hand painted murals of the old Italian landscape and very important people of years gone by, whisk you back to a simpler place and time when quality service and sumptuous dishes were the norm. The service in Villa Borghese is also top shelf. These days, big corporations running dining establishments sometimes forget the real importance of breaking bread with friends and family. But Villa Borghese doesn't allow you to forget how important it is. The waitresses develop a rapport with you that you will not experience anywhere else. And there is a real relationship between owner and customer. It is not rare that the owner will come out and have a glass of wine with you and your family. That's what's really important. There's always a place for you at Villa Borghese !! About Us Villa Borghese was founded in 1970 by Sal and Joe Russo. In 1987 it was sold to three brothers ( current owners ) who by coincidence also shared the last name of Russo. These three brothers are Phil, Jack and Sam Russo. These brothers had already been in business operating a deli in Elizabeth, a restaurant in Ortly Beach, and a Stella Doro route also in Elizabeth. The city of Fords embraced the new owners with open arms. They in turn, kept Villa Borghese a good Italian family restaurant, and made it into a modern day classic.
