Apple Ridge Country Club - Home Apple Ridge Country Club was founded in 1966 by Clinton Carlough. The Carlough family remain the sole owners of the club. Over forty-five years ago, Clinton Carlough, an ardent golfer, visualized the apple orchards as a perfect setting for a golf course. Overlooking the skyline of New York City, Apple Ridge is conveniently located in Mahwah, New Jersey. Apple Ridge's eighteen hole course was designed by Hal Purdy. Practice facilities include a driving range, chipping area and a practice tee for lessons.
