Tri-Co Federal Credit Union serves the Morris, Sussex, and Warren tri-county region. It was established in 1936 as Morris County Teachers Federal Credit Union. Operated solely by volunteers until 1967 when a general manager was hired, Tri-Co now services 14,000 members. While most members are teachers or involved in an education-related group, it also serves government employees, individual companies, hospitals and churches in the tri-county region.
