In 1954 my Mom and Dad opened up a small sandwich shop in Audubon, NJ. The menu consisted of steak sandwiches to penny candy. Working together, they managed to build up a nice business. In 1965, we moved to Ocean City and relocated Del’s to the boardwalk, in the location we occupy today.While the surfers at the time were hanging 10 on long boards by Dewey Weber and Greg Noll, Dad was serving famous steak sandwiches, burgers and much more.
