Mountain Ridge is a private country club located off of Passaic Avenue. The club's golf course can usually be played in just about four hours.

The club prohibits the use of cellular phones anywhere on the premises. The club requests members and guests to only use their phones in their cars.

The Mountain Ridge Country Club requires members and its guests to observe a dress code while on the premises:

While on the course: "All persons must wear appropriate golfing attire on the course. Men may wear slacks or Bermuda-length shorts. Women may wear slacks, skirts or Bermuda-length shorts. Cargo shorts, blue jeans, short-shorts, tennis, gym and running shorts, cut-offs and tank-top T-shirts are prohibited. Men's shirts must be tucked in and hats must be worn properly (forward)."

While in the clubhouse: "Except in the locker room, all hats and men's visors must be removed in the clubhouse. Please inquire with the Dining Room as to the proper dress for the event you are attending."

Open-Hole Rule: When an entire hole opens up ahead of your group, please ask a faster group behind you to play through. Also, the club asks members to keep carts a sufficient distance from tees and greens and use cart paths whenever possible.
