Since 1962, Monroe’s has been serving the best in New Mexican cuisine to local residents and their families. Monroe’s began as a small drive-in near Old Town in Albuquerque, specializing in reasonably priced – high quality New Mexican food served with a dash of good fun. As Monroe’s expanded to be the “nationally known” restaurant it is today (have we got stories!!), we have never forgotten our roots as a neighborhood gathering place. We want you to make yourself at home, have fun, and help us get to know you and any special needs you may have. Monroe’s family operates a team system (everyone is responsible for your satisfaction) so that we can serve you better – and special orders or substitutions are OK!!
