The city of Las Vegas is known for its extravagant dining, luxurious shopping, and pockets of entertainment, though they may not always been found so conveniently close together. All of that changed when the area between The LINQ Hotel & Casino and the Flamingo Las Vegas was turned into The QUAD, a stretch of boardwalk that provides all of the best of Sin City in a convenient and elegant outdoor space.

Must see/do at The QUAD
The QUAD delivers on luxury shopping like many of Sin City's casino-based malls. When travelers are done loading up on merchandise, they can stop and dine at a wide variety of eateries, ranging from Irish pubs to decadent bakeries. The QUAD is home to Brooklyn Bowl, Las Vegas' most extravagant bowling alley and entertainment space. On the east end of The QUAD, you'll find the hard-to-miss High Roller, the world's largest observational ferris wheel.

Types of stores at The QUAD
Shoppers on a budget won't find much to buy at The QUAD as the stores are generally on the higher end. Luxury and designer goods can be found at shops like 12 a.m. Run, a stylish sneaker boutique; Chilli Beans, a purveyor of Brazilian eyewear; and Las Angeles' lifestyle boutique, Kitson.

Food at The QUAD
There are plenty of dining options to be found at The QUAD, but travelers shouldn't expect anything quick and simple like McDonalds. The American eatery, Yard House, is located just below the High Roller, while more ethnic restaurants like Chayo Mexican Kitchen + Tequila Bar and The Tilted Kilt Pub & Eatery are scattered throughout. Haute Doggery is as casual as things get, but these aren't just plump hot dogs from the grill - this is hot dogs done Vegas style. Indulgent diners can finish every meal off with Ghirardelli Ice Cream and Chocolate Shop.

Parking and public transportation at The QUAD
During non-event nights, public parking can be found behind the High Roller, though when events roll into town this lot is booked up immediately. Other convenient parking can be found in The LINQ's parking garage. Guests can also catch The Las Vegas Monorail, which makes a stop directly at The QUAD.

Other places to visit near The QUAD
On either side of The QUAD is some of Las Vegas' premier entertainment, The LINQ and Flamingo Las Vegas. A quick walk north past The LINQ is Carnival Court, which provides a bar and live entertainment, and access to Harrah's Hotel and Casino.
