Carlo and Michelle Pulixi, chef-owners of Convivium Osteria, opened in November 2000. Revered as one of the most romantic and authentic restaurants in New York, our cuisine and wine reflect a love for western Mediterranean tradition. Convivium combines the old world culinary and aesthetic traditions of Italy, Spain and Portugal. Attention to details are important for us, like where our meat and produce come from, the homemade pasta we make daily, the house baked desserts that Michelle prepares. We only use meat from naturally raised animals and we buy our fruit and produce from local organic farmers, whenever possible.
