The spacious interior of this tropical-themed dog boarding and grooming shop is welcoming. The air smells not unpleasantly like pet shampoo, and pet supplies are conveniently displayed. Hip music plays, and friendly, well-trained pet groomers walk around at your service. It truly is a "boutique and dog spa." It can handle nail clippings, shavings, shampooing, washing and blow-drying, plus eye and ear cleaning and "furminating" or "de-shedding" for small and large dogs and cats. With a yard in the back, the animals are welcome to play. And, if their home is nearby, they might even get a walk home to be dropped off.
The owner, Judy, loves cats and dogs. A veteran of the corporate world, she clearly used her business savvy to create a well-branded, vacation-like hot-spot for pets. "We love animals," she says. "Your pet is like our family."
