Other Details:
The Castello Plan is named for one of the first New York City maps, drawn up by Dutch surveyor Jaques Cortelyou. The dining area features salvaged wood and antique nautical lights, along with a side deck used in warm weather. The beer selections are mostly Belgian, and the varied wine list includes Basque and Uruguayan selections. The menu of dinner and small-plate options changes regularly, and includes fare such as wild boar cacciatorini, a pulled pork sandwich and seared scallops served in persimmon vinaigrette and celery puree. Live jazz and folk music is featured on Mondays and Thursdays.
