Located in the charming village of Canajoharie in the beautiful Mohawk Valley of Upstate New York and within an hour's drive from Cooperstown, Saratoga Springs, Albany and lots of year-round sports venues, The Pineapple House Bed & Breakfast is a welcoming oasis for our guests. The house was built in 1860 and was home to the Roger and Elsie Smith family for 50 years. Roger Smith was the co-owner of the Arkell & Smith Sack Company in Canajoharie; interesting side-note - the flat bottom paper bag, commonly used for sugar and flour, was first made at Arkell & Smith.
