Hudson River Teachers Federal Credit Union was established more than 70 years ago to serve the public school teachers in the Hudson Valley area. The concept of forming the Hudson River Teachers Federal Credit Union was to provide an opportunity for members to be owners of their own bank and nonprofit cooperative. Board-run, for generations this credit union has been a successful venture and has a combined worth of $29 million.

In addition to savings account services, the credit union offers rates for mortgages; home equity loans; auto, RV and motorcycle loans; and computer loans. It is located in the Cortlandt Plaza Center, in between Mavis Discount Tire and Pronto Printer.
