Known locally as "the winery in the hollow," Pugliese Vineyards is owned by Ralph and Patricia Pugliese. It is located on a tucked-away 55-acre parcel of land in Cutchogue, across from Cutchogue East Elementary school. The Puglieses are known for planting wine grapes not often found in the area, such as Niagara, Zinfandel and the Italian red grape Sangiovese. Peter Pugliese makes wines, champagnes and ports, and each bottle is labeled with Patricia's handpainted designs.
