Established in 1875, The Roslyn Savings Bank was the first financial institution to be headquartered in Nassau County, New York. Its founders wanted to build a bank that would provide Long Island residents with a safe place for their savings and the financial assistance they needed to build or purchase their homes. Today, Roslyn Savings Bank is the second largest thrift depository on Long Island, with 32 traditional branches, 24 in-store branches, a customer service center, and a network of 51, 24-hour ATMs. A member of the NYCB Family of Banks since 2003, Roslyn Savings Bank is the largest of its divisions, accounting for 57 of its 137 locations in the New York Metropolitan area.
