Alobar is that great neighborhood restaurant, the one where you can go back again and again and find something creative and new every time. Seasonal locally farmed ingredients are an emphasis, and there is a particular love of using locally raised animals and using every little bit to make sure nothing goes to waste. When you walk in the atmosphere is immediately warming with an old-industrial New York feel. Reclaimed wood from an old farmhouse gives that at-home feeling as well as beautiful stained glass doors and hand-made iron light fixtures.
