The Beach Plum Resort has been around since the 1940s, but it became a co-op in 1984. The board decided to rent out efficiencies during the summer and fall season, and 28 studios, one and two bedroom units, and cottages are available. The resort's best feature is perhaps its location, on the north side of Old Montauk Highway, perched on a hill and overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. The view from the heated outdoor pool looks out to the ocean, as well.
