This restaurant claims to be one of the original Japanese-American restaurant in Rockland County. From its appearance, it is also likely the largest Japanese restaurant in town. This restaurant is very family friendly, and offers much more than just sushi. In fact, it offers a wide variety of menu options to fit almost any palate or budget. All of its sauces and dressings are made in house daily. U-Me's Hibachi tables are very large and popular for groups; the restaurant can easily accommodate groups of forty or more for Hibachi meals. U-Me also features a full bar that serves special cocktails as well beer, wine, and sake.
