Bennie Boon began serving her Thai curries to her employees while still operating the Blimpie’s location, but she knew that she wanted to devote all of her time to the dishes of her homeland. And that she did; the dizzying variety of Thai specialties on offer at Bennie’s, including crunchy salads with the perfect hint of heat and tangy citrus flavor, Tom Yum-Goong soup with shrimp and a superb Pad Thai, certainly showcase her talents. But it is also the reasonable prices coupled with consistent freshness that make dining at Bennie’s (or in the comfort of your own home) a true pleasure.
