However, the plan to start Desi Shack did not materialize until several years later. As a corporate professional working in New York, it amazed me how many of my meals were consumed 'on the go.' The fast pace of life in the city and the demand for 'on the go' food options made me think how great it would be to create a quick service casual restaurant where people could enjoy my favorite cuisine in a portable format. Desi Shack is the result of our love for desi food, our appreciation for how differently people enjoy the cuisine, and our desire for an 'on the go' offering that doesn't compromise on freshness or taste. Our simple menu offers endless choices.
