Serving casual “New American” food in a comfortable neighborhood-restaurant setting. Offerings include a rich variety of lunch and dinner choices. Ranging from all beef sliders to fresh salmon and bass to a grilled rib-eye steak. With something to intrigue everyone’s hunger, between the extremes are the many soups, salads and, for a brave- ‘ A World Class burger’. Here at Neka, we plan to indulge the thirsty as well as the hungry with a full, diverse, and sophisticated wine list, six chilled beers on tap, and a full array of after-dinner specialty drinks and liqueurs. Neka is excited to serve the people of Carnegie Hill and Mt. Sinai Hospital. Viewing it as an honor to be one of only three restaurants to inhibit this venue since its erection in 1913. The first of which was Murphy’s (1913-1973) then Hanratty’s (1973-2010). With such a short list of tenants the management and staff of Neka welcome the pressure and look forward to carrying on the traditions of great service and friendliness of its predecessor restaurants. Striving first and foremost to tantalize the taste buds of the Upper East Side while at the same time keeping the custom of providing a comfortable dining experience.
