The International Center for Transitional Justice, also known as, ICTJ, is a human rights organization that assists countries pursuing accountability for past mass atrocity and human rights abuse. The center offers legal and policy analysis services for civil society, government and international organizations. It provides a transitional justice program that offers technical assistance services and conducts training sessions in the Middle East and North Africa. Founded in 2001, the International Center for Transitional Justice has a research unit that conducts researches on issues that confront policymakers and activists. The center organizes English and French workshops for graduate and law students. The International Center for Transitional Justice has partnerships with the Afghan Independent Human Rights Commission, Association Truth and Reconciliation, and Association for Human Rights.
