O’Neill’s is a bustling bar in the heart of Midtown Manhattan and only steps away from Grand Central on Third Avenue between 45th and 46th Street. The bar first opened its doors in 1997 and since has been a hub of activity ever since. Your host, Kieran Staunton, is a well know figure in the Irish and American community in New York. One of the most famous bars in New York City, O’Neill’s is the ideal place in New York to host any occasion. The New York Times, Daily News and New York Post have all written great reviews on this famous pub. Open seven days a week, O’Neill’s offers lunch and dinner specials daily with an excellent weekend brunch menu. Daily happy hour and the Bar Recession Menu (when meals are sold at 1997 lunch prices) are available from 4-8 p.m. Located on two floors with a private party room fitting over 100 people and overlooking Third Avenue, O’Neill’s is a popular venue for all ages. Games are shown on giant screens with surround sound on both floors. Every Saturday and Sunday O’Neill’s is home to the best Irish traditional music seisiun in New York. Beginning at 8 p.m. the atmosphere is alive with the sounds of Ireland, including the bodhran, fiddle and accordion. As the longest running venue for Irish traditional music in New York City, O’Neill’s plays host to many famous musicians who are known to drop in and join the seisiun regularly.
