The Peekskill Coffee House was established in 2003 by owner Sunny Cover. Starting as a co-op, Sunny took the reins as sole proprietor in 2009. Sunny's vision of a community based gathering ground for Peekskill's emerging artist community stems from her years living in San Francisco. The Peekskill Coffee House has become a staple of the city and is often referred to as "Peekskill's Living Room."
