What began in the 1940s as a gymnastic club has morphed into a members-only social club at National Sokol. Slovakians from here and neighboring towns gather to play shuffleboard and hang out at a bar tended by volunteers. The 20 or so members are also known to throw occassional parties in the adjacent hall.
