In business since 1984 Yim's Wok has become a local institution. Many of its customers drop in after visiting the nearby Bev Francis Powerhouse Gym, which has led to the restaurant's motto becoming "for best results train hard and eat right." There are photographs of bodybuilders on the walls and the menu features a "gym light" section and a calorie chart in addition to the usual Szechuan, Hunan and Cantonese dishes. Customer can eat in or take out, but there is no table service.
