Who would have thought that two young immigrants would have come this far and achieve such greatness? My parents, Salvatore and Cathy Stillo, are both Italian immigrants from a small town called Sant’ Andrea in Calabria. Coming to the United States at ages eight and sixteen is not a simple task when not being able to speak one word of English. They achieved their dream in October of 2000 when they opened their restaurant, La Fontanella. Since day one of the opening, my parents’ work and effort made the restaurant a great triumph. The atmosphere of La Fontanella is extremely comfortable and casual. Our employees do all they can to make our customers feel welcome and at home. Our menu of mostly southern Italian cuisine, varying from appetizers such as the Cold Antipasto Calabrese to entrees like the Chicken Scarpariello. Our prices are inexpensive, ranging from $13.95 to $19.95. With our wide variety of wines and other beverages, you will always find the right drink to go with your dinner. Our most popular desserts are the Homemade Tiramisu and the Homemade Italian Cheesecake, both made by my mother Cathy.
