Welcome to the Madalin Hotel, a beautifully restored historic landmark in the heart of Tivoli NY on the beautiful Hudson River. A success with weekenders, vacationers, Bard College visitors and others—even Mikhail Baryshnikov enjoyed a night here. The hotel, built in 1909, was completely restored by its new owners in 2006, and takes its name from the old name of the Village at the turn of the century, Madalin. Now Tivoli, the village was once comprised of the Village of Madalin and the Village of Tivoli, and Madalin Hotel was, and still is, its heart.This turn-of-the-century building, with its ornately carved nineteen foot bar, intimate, softly lit dining room, and guest rooms tastefully decorated in antique furnishings, will take you back to a time when life was simpler, the pace was slower, and foods were locally produced.
