Founded in 1984 by Dr. Dennis Silverbloom, a lifelong resident of West Islip, West Islip Physical Therapy and Sports Rehabilitation is a medical center serving the town and surrounding communities.

The physicians can help treat and diagnose all types of problems including sports and work-related injuries, disorders resulting from accidents, as well as an array of body disorders and discomforts.

The center also offers massage therapy as well as personal training by Liz Silverbloom, for all ages, and levels including cardio, strength, flexibility and core conditioning. To help maintain good health and prevent future problems, the office will instruct patients in such things as a home exercise program and proper posture and body mechanics.
