Washington Dulles International Airport IAD is an airport serving the Northern Virginia-Washington-Baltimore metro area in Dulles, Virginia.  The Dulles Airport is located 26 miles west of the heart of Washington D.C.  Being the largest airport in the D.C. area Washington Dulles Airport is one of the busiest shuffling along over 23 million passengers annually. Dulles International Airport opened in 1962 after federal backing came through in 1950 and then President Eisenhower selecting the location in 1958.  The Dulles Airport is named after John Foster Dulles who served as Secretary of State in the Eisenhower Administration.

IAD Airport is easily accessible from Highway 28 and Highway 267 with parking options that include economy, garage, hourly, short-term, long-term and valet. These options include: Terminal Parking, Garage 1, Garage 2, Blue Economy Lot, Green Economy Lot, Purple Economy Lot and Gold Economy Lot.
