Mr. Hero is a sandwich shop that features a drive-up window. The menu features a variety of submarine sandwiches and sides. The Roman burger, a Mr. Hero staple, is two grilled burgers topped with Swiss and American cheeses, grilled salami and Italian luncheon loaf served with lettuce, tomatoes, onions, oil, spices and mayonnaise. The first Mr. Hero was opened on the west side of Cleveland in 1965, and currently there are locations throughout northeastern Ohio.
