Double Happiness, the Chinese symbol representing the good fortune of marriage is created by placing two of the characters for "happiness" side by side. This powerful symbol perfectly encapsulates our mission: to create a unique venue that harmoniously marries modern culture with a respect for tradition. Located in Columbus's historic Brewery District, Double Happiness has a festive yet intimate atmosphere that makes it perfect for a variety of events, including live music and weddings. Co-owner and programming director Yalan Papillons is a music industry veteran, having booked for many notable venues including The Knitting Factory in New York City and The Black Cat in Washington D.C., giving her much experience in dealing with many emerging and established acts. Given the ubiquity of the double happiness character in the decorations of Chinese wedding ceremonies, Double Happiness is especially suited for weddings.
