Little Tony’s Pizzeria began in 1961 in Columbus Ohio by Tony DeMatteo. Using old world recipes that were given to him by his mother, in 1966 he opened Little Tony’s in Plain City Ohio.The Little Tony’s in Plain City was operated by Dave and Rick DeMatteo and later purchased by them. In 1977 younger brother Tom DeMatteo and his wife Kathy purchased Little Tony’s in Plain City and operated it until 1996 at which time it was sold. Missing their way of life in the pizza business, Tom and Kathy began building Little Tony’s Pizzeria with the help of their sons Josh and Dustin at 900 Columbus Ave in Marysville, Oh in 1999.
