Trader Jack's opened its doors in December of 2005. It is named after a dear friend, Jack Bruno, who most folks simply knew as "Trader Jack". Jack was a good-hearted man who was a "character" in his own right & well liked by all. If you were ever in need of a bundle of tube socks, disposable razor blades or various other items, Jack would be more than happy to open the trunk of his car & give you a deal you couldn't refuse. Jack was a big fan of horse racing & rarely missed a day at the track with his buddies. Sadly, Jack passed away shortly before we opened our doors but his memory will always live on! Our goal has been the same since day one: We strive to provide our guests with a place where they can enjoy great food & receive friendliest service, while absorbing a laid back, casual atmosphere. We are equipped with a very talented cooking staff, a dedicated & experienced management team, a friendly, hard-working wait staff & an unbelievably beautiful setting on the shores of the Chagrin River!
