The WRR is located on 10 acres next to the river. It can accommodate three couples or individuals in separate bedrooms, each with a private bath. The two master bedrooms on the first floor have adjacent master baths with Jacuzzi tubs. The second floor bedroom provides views of the river, lake and Cascades from a room-side deck. Additional amenities include a spa and sauna on the first floor. The third floor is a viewing & game room with a surrounding exterior deck providing stunning views of the Cascades. A riverside deck is 40 feet from the river shaded by mature silver maple trees. Crater Lake, the most popular tourist destination in Oregon, is less than an hour away. Pelican Bay on the west side of the lake at Rocky Point, can fish well from May to September. A boat, float tube or pontoon boat is essential to fish the bay effectively. Many anglers troll and fish bait. Fly-fishing cab be productive for those who take the time to learn the bay's nuances. The Wood River enters Klamath Lake at the north end via Agency Lake. This river offers dry fly fishing for German brown trout and is best fished with a local guide. All property bordering the river below Fort Klamath is private and there is no bank fishing available. The Wood has many aspects of a spring creek with respect to its hatches. Hoppers can fish well on this river during the heat of summer. Migrating rainbows enter this river late in the season, after the river flow rises, when irrigation diversions are stopped.
