The coffee is locally roasted in Emeryville, California and shipped out that very same day. No coffee or espresso bean is stored for weeks or months at a time in a warehouse before shipment. We believe in roasting coffee in small batches to ensure that the quality and texture is appropriate for every cup. Each location has its own unique atmosphere and no one location is the same. In other words, if you have been to one cafe, you have not seen them all. Some locations vary in name, but have the same great tasting coffee.
