The Broad Axe Tavern, originally built in 1681 before Billy Penn and John Adams arrived to the new world. It was renovated and reopened in May of 2009 under new management. The Broad Axe is friendly neighborhood casual dinning. We pride ourselves on an outstanding selection of fine beers from breweries throughout the world and the finest selections of beers on draught in the area. We also offer an excellent selection of beers for retail sale. Our wine selection is second to none, and the menu at the Broad Axe Tavern has recently been masterfully re-designed. We have three floors available for your enjoyment. The first floor has our bar and dinning areas and a porch area for watching your favorite sports team. The second floor for dinning and small groups and semi-private parties, and our third floor for banquets up to 75 people. Both the second and third floors are accessible by stairs or elevator. There is WiFi throughout the building and a large drop down screen and projector on the third floor for parties, sales meetings, or educational events. We look forward to serving you.
