Founded in 1978, Chester Springs Studio is a nonprofit visual arts center. The studio provides a range of residency, teaching and exhibition opportunities for artists throughout the United States. Its art education program includes interactive classes, workshops and lectures. The studio conducts classes on various topics, such as artistic development in acrylics, the basics of life drawing and oil painting. It also provides lectures in portrait drawing, mixed media painting, paper design and book arts and creative writing. Chester Springs Studio offers clay sculpture and pottery classes for students between the ages of 6 and 12. Additionally, the Studio conducts various exhibitions.
