Steel City Samiches was created when Gary Lang and sons, Shawn, Anthony and Matthew, Realized that there was a lack of late night food options near the Indiana University of Pennsylvania. After research revealed that the only current options were waiting in a line at a gas stations or waiting in line for day old pizza, they decided that Indiana had a great need for a real late night food option. People have been asking why we spelled our name Samiches, so here is the story. When we decided to open up we needed a name to convey what we were doing. We agreed that Steel City Samiches N’at would get the point across that we were going to make Pittsburgh Style Samiches
